Fire Doc Sadler, yeah that’s right we said it. Not sugar coated or slanted, just fire Doc Sadler. We are bloggers we can say what we want. This is not the newspaper where we have people approving our articles for distribution, this is straight from the mouth of the people. Every year it gets worse and every year more players quit the team and transfer. Sure the guy is great, he seems like quite the class act from what I have seen. But on the other hand I have never played for the guy either. As Nebraska fans sit and watch Butler Athletic Director and former Head Coach of Nebraska Barry Collier attempt to take his unknown team to the ceremonious crown of all college basketball; we can only think how bad Nebraska is at basketball. I am certain their our High school basketball teams who can beat us. Tell me that if Cousins and Wall from Kentucy played on the same High School team they wouldn’t have killed us last year if we had played them. What is worst is Nebraska has never made it out the second round of the NIT while Doc has been Head Coach. Results are the only thing worth talking about in regards to Husker Hoops.
They should have never fired Danny Nee. He could recruit the East Coast better than any coach in the history of the program.
No offense to Doc Sadler but he came from UTEP. You can get 5th or 6th rate players from the East Coast and they are still making the tournament. We haven’t made he tournament since Danny Nee was a coach. Dr. Tom Osborne, I love you. really I do. These are the hard decisions an Athletic Director has to make. Commit to building the arena. Commit to bringing in East Coast talent. And committ to excellence and this will all be an after thought. There is no reason Mizzou can make the Elite 8, Oklahoma the Final Four, and Kansas the championship without Nebraska even being considered in the Top 64. It’s plain and simple. Fire Doc Sadler.

With all do respect, SHUT THE HELL UP!!! Doc is doing just fine. really!!! I know that that comes as a shock to most of you who were expecting to win the championship with in 5 years, but really who the hell are you kidding. This is Nebraska Basketball. We play in arguabley the toughest conference in the country and had the 2nd toughest schedual in the country. We were playing with a team of players that had never played with each other before. So what do you expect? I expect imporvement and that is what we got by the end of the season. by the end of the season the guys were playing like i would expect a team to play if they had been playing for years together. Doc was smart to keep the Guy in tact who were starters and let the others go in an effort to find better talent. The leaving of Rosese was a good thing if he was not performing. Doc is doing everything with in HIS power to make this team better, not performing on the court , goodbye, not performing in recuiting good bye. Doc has had 3 winning seasons out of 4 here. The conference simply got astronomically better. so what do you realisticly expect??? We are getting new practice facility and if all goes well a new arenea. yes it is tough, i say give Doc a couple of more years then start the bitching. This is Nebraska Basketball suffering comes with the territory. Doc is far better a coach then we ever expected get and getting rid of him too quickly would only make the problem worse. it would create the impression of instiblity in the program espically one as lack luster as nebraska. That would scare away recruits and that is not what we need. BE patience and it will pay off. Doc is a likeable and that will help when swaying voters for the election of the new arena. Don’t be trigger happy, be patience the result will be worth it.

That might be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Ever. You know Doc recruited poorly at UTEP also, right? The year he made the tournament it was with Billy Gillispie’s players. UTEP made the tournament this year as an at-large. You do know they just don’t give those out willy nilly, right. Silly, silly statement.

Your just a sad, pizzed off blogger that puts the blame on someone else…..How about asking your Athletic Director to schedule a game with UTEP… That would never happen seeing as how Nebraska would be scared to get ROACH STOMPED!!!
P.S, UTEP made it in the TOP 25 this season…..where was Nebraska?????? Bottom of the BIG 12 barrel!

Putting down UTEP?! Really!?! Which school has the most tradition, UTEP or Nebraska? (Speaking of BB of course) Nebraska has zero tradition! UTEP has the 1966 Championship, a Hall of Fame coach in DON HASKINS, Big Dance apprearences, Conference Championships!!! This blog is a poor excuse for an article. Did you even consider spell checking? Nebraska will never be UTEP, ever!
Now with Tim Floyd at the helm, (Don Haskins’ assistant) UTEP will continue to excel. Nebraska…not so much!!
